A-COLD-WALL* And Converse Have A Collaboration Coming Soon

Known almost controversially for his brutalist Nike Vomero 5, Samuel Ross of A-COLD-WALL is undoubtedly fearless in his collaborative endeavors with two debuting Converse silhouettes presenting something within the lines of futuristic militaria and eccentric Italian minimalism. The first pair is effectively an armored up Chuck Taylor as its cap toe arrives in full display across a sole unit of boot-like imposition. Nylon Ripstop uppers add gridded textures to the entire gray swathe with comically oversized overlays covering the profile with branded denotations. While staying somewhat closely to the ideals of the Boston-based label, the next model is surely anything but despite being largely contemporary in its appearance. Blurring the lines between vastly different options, the pair quietly acts as a slight mimicry of Margom soled models though with the bulk and strap of the iconic Air Force 1. Color blocked across its entire construction, the mix of suede and smooth leathers arrive in a muted swatch of earth tones with a small debossed “ACW” logo hit resting right on the forefoot panel. Fitting perfectly Ross’s mainline, the pair’s are set to release later this June likely at select retailers and Converse.com.
