Off-White x Air Jordan 4 And More Of Virgil Abloh’s Unreleased Samples On Display At MCA Chicago

As it turns out, there was a lot more in the works before Virgil Abloh whittled it down to “The 10”. On display at MCA Chicago is a full spread of unreleased samples created by Virgil and Nike, with the key standout being his deconstructed take on the Air Jordan 4 Retro. Two colorways have been spotted – one in the iconic “Bred” and a second akin to a Linen tan hue. These closer images snapped by Hypebeast reveal similar design touches such as the exposed interior sponge in the upper and the “AIR” boldly printed on the midsole, but some other elements such as the opaque pieces in the heel badge, wings, and netting as well as the pre-worn toe-box also reveal what the Off-White founder had in mind for this concept.

Other highlights of this exhibit include an alternate yellow colorway of the Off-White x Air Jordan 1, various track-and-field silhouettes, a Sock Dart, and much more. See the photos ahead and let us know if you’d like to see an Off-White x Air Jordan 4 hit stores.
