Jordan Brand’s year-long celebration of the Air Jordan 4‘s 30th anniversary is set to keep rolling right along this summer with four bold tonal takes on the brand-new Air Jordan 4 Flyknit, one of which is this sporty “Royal” scheme. Dressing every inch of the shoe in a bold blue and joining the ranks of other classic silhouettes that have received full Flyknit makeovers like the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 3, these AJ4s feature a new-age knit upper, complete with plenty of different textures to accent each piece of the original design. A semblance of tradition is present thanks to the plastic wings, forefoot’s lace overlays, and heel badge/tab, but the tongue switches out its classic fabric patch for a new textured plastic version. Down below, the tonal scheme is continued on the midsole and outsole thanks to a mixture of blue rubbers both translucent and solid, while a leather sockliner completes the stylings by adding a premium fit and feel to the athletically-inclined aesthetic. You can look for these Air Jordans to release on June 14th at Nike.com/select stockists alongside three other monochromatic colorways — a vibrant red, a blinding volt, and a refreshing orange — for $220 USD, so enjoy a full set of official images below while you wait.
