Nike LeBron 16 “Hot Lava” Inspired By The Air Tech Challenge II

The Nike LeBron 16 continues its streak of worthy nods to the past as we get a first look at a “Hot Lava” colorway inspired by the Air Tech Challenge II. Much like the “Medicine Ball” iteration, which recalled the signature tan and navy pairing from the Air Trainer III, this upcoming #LeBronWatch installment of the Nike LeBron 16 assumes the identity of the Agassi classic with a lava splatter detailing on the heel, matte white Air units, and a solid grey outsole to match the 1991 classic. Beyond the color-blocking, Nike looked to the actual materials of the ATCII as the heel of the inner bootie has a ribbed texture while the tongue opts for the micro-perforated leather. Expect a release at Nike Basketball retailers on May 24th.
