COMME des Garcons, the long-time bringer of effervescent design, revealed this avant-garde iteration of the Shox TL last year during one of their many runway shows at Fashion Week. The upper was rebuilt with suede, with extended edges similar to what we saw in their Air Mowabb collaboration of early 2018. It’s the addition of a metal chain across the midfoot that truly gives these the hate-it-or-love-it appeal, and it’s clear that those who truly adore the brand will find this design irresistible. Currently, these are available at Dover Street Market Ginza, with a wider release not year confirmed.
