Upcoming Air Jordan 1 “Dynamic Yellow” Is Missing A Swoosh Logo

Upcoming Air Jordan 1 “Dynamic Yellow” Is Missing A Swoosh Logo

As Jordan Brand continues to expand the range of Air Jordan 1 releases, the colorway concepts have gotten a bit…unusual. Dropping this July is a fresh new offering of the icon that delivers a Dynamic Yellow colored Swoosh logo on the medial sides of the shoes, but that takes a back seat to what’s going on the lateral side. In place of the conventional Swoosh is some loose red stitching that renders the shape of the check, almost as if the overlay itself was completely torn off the shoe. In fact, that’s exactly what happened with last winter’s release of the “A Star Is Born” drop; some sneakerheads took an exacto-knife to the two-toned green embroidery, leaving wayward threads to act as the logo.

The rest of the shoe is fairly standard in terms of what we’ve come to expect from the new era of Retro colorways. Tumbled leather, a tighter fabric on the lining, leather tongues, and the unstitched tongue logo make up the remainder of this polemic Air Jordan 1. See the photos below, and stay tuned for a drop in July.
