The collection is extremely compelling, simply because each designer interpreted what makes their home city so remarkable in a deeply meaningful and personal fashion. From the astral stylings of the Air Max 97 “Shanghai Kaleidoscope” to the inherently industrial look of the Vapormax Plus “Paris Works In Progress,” the cultural melting pot that’s the Air Max 98 “La Mezcla,” the dizzying detailing on the Air Max 1 “Tokyo Maze,” the bright accents of the Air Max 97 “Neon Seoul,” and the whimsical colors of the Air Max 97 “London Summer,” there’s something for all tastes, styles, and regions here. From a pricing standpoint, the collection’s MSRPs start at $150 for the Air Max 1 before rising to $200 for each of the two Air Max 97s/98s and crescendoing at $240 for the Vapormax Plus.
