Nike’s On Air initiatives have resulted in quite a few diverse takes on oft-seen icons, with Lou Matheron’s vision of the technical Air VaporMax Plus grabbing influence from her everyday surroundings. Taking to the colors and materials spread across the construction grounds of a Parisian courthouse, the creative has presented a heavily neutral set of metallic greys with ornaments outdoing the toolings of the traditional kit. Bright yellow swooshes, which come quite literally bolted on to the profile of the synthetic upper, push hi-vis with overarching straps forgoing lace units in a connection to the ratchet fasteners found commonly along the site. Diagonally striped prints find themselves on the light blue elastic band across the tongue as well as the speciality insoles which prefer bold colors ripped directly from its muse. Grab an official look below and find these rolling out to select retailers as well as Nike.com on April 13th.
