J.Crew And New Balance Re-unite To Bring Back The 1400 In Two Midnight Sky Inspired Colorways

J.Crew And New Balance Re-unite To Bring Back The 1400 In Two Midnight Sky Inspired Colorways

Celebrating its first collaboration with New Balance, J.Crew is ushering in American made NB 1400 silhouettes in a scheme inspired by the night sky. While the retailer and Boston-based footwear label originally brought back the model in 2010, it is only fitting to honor the decade-long partnership with two schemes of completely diverse tooling. One is much more traditional in its design, with white midsoles and a gum bottom adding a bit of contemporary notes fitting of both partner’s aesthetics. A “Navy Steel” paints the entire suede upper for a bit of old school meets new school with an outlined N along the profile adding much more overt branding. The next is a quite tonal overall, continuing a dark theme with a Midnight Navy tone that adds a mostly one-noted visage, with texture and material variance adding in dimension. Find a detailed look at both pairs below and expect them to launch on the April 4th date exclusively at J.Crew.
