Nike’s ever-popular Air Force 1 Low has taken on many alternate materials in its nearly four decades on the market, and now it’s set to release in a brand-new muslin-colored canvas makeup. The shoe opts for an entirely tonal look by dressing most of its real estate in the aforementioned soft tan colorway, so it’s the materials/details that are the true standout here. The rough and rugged canvas follows the tan tones down onto the midsole, adding an extra layer of style and accenting the thick stitch that’s present. The only variances from the single-colored stylings appears on the tongue, where the normal stitched-on patch is replaced by a white painted variation – and the heel, where ever-so-slight grey embroidered hits are present. More special detailing then arrives on the heel via an embroidered NYC graphic that any long-time Air Force 1 fan is sure to be familiar with. A flowing “New York City” print on the insole then completes the look. Esteemed New York vintage curators Procell have teased a possible collaborative project with Nike around the shoe — taking to their Instagram to show off boxes with painted detailing that matches the aforementioned tongue badge — so stay tuned for more info on these compelling Forces as it’s available. In the meantime, you can expect a March 18th release date on Nike.com, with a retail price of $110 USD.
