Ross Dwyer Just as it has in many a season prior, the ever-popular Air Max 1 is set to play a large part in Nike’s spring/summer 2019 lifestyle lineup — and the latest pair to appear features bright and colorful volt/rush pink accents. As the aforementioned embellishments are plenty bold on their own, the shoe’s base opts to keep things simple by combining white leather and mesh with a black midfoot Swoosh for a touch of dark detailing. Volt is used sparingly as well, appearing on the heel’s Air Max cushioning unit and on the front of the outsole. “Rush Pink” then covers the entire nubuck mudguard, giving the shoe a perfect pop of warm weather-ready flair.
