Fresh off its Cav Empt collaboration only a month ago, Beaverton is ushering in a monochrome rendition of the Air Max 95 that bears an uncanny resemblance to the white pair from the mosaic-filled capsule. Whether inspired by the exact pair itself or an unprinted defect, the white and black pair excites in its simplicity. While the aforementioned rework totes the maximalist ethos of Japanese designer Sk8thing, this follow-up is a step in the other direction, opting instead for a minimal design that lets the silhouette do the talking. The cascading panelling of the upper twists and turns with shadows lining its edges as the cut out swoosh towards the rear as well as the tongue tag deviates from the inspiration slightly. Expect a release to hit Nike.com as well as select retailers come April 1st at a price point of $170 USD.
