The atmos x Nike Air Max 2 Light Is Gearing Up For A Release

All the way back in November, the world was treated to a first look at another upcoming Nike Sportswear collaboration between the Beaverton titan and one of their most fruitful partners throughout the years, atmos. Japan’s premier NSW retailer is responsible for illustrious creations the likes of the jungle-ready “Animal Pack”, the elephant print-equipped Air Max 1, the Air Max 1 “Safari” and much more, putting them in the conversation with other heavy hitters the likes of Parra and Patta. For a release likely centered around Air Max Day 2019, atmos has added a wild styling to the resurgent Air Max 2 Light silhouette, set to boast a mismatched aesthetic dressed with nearly every color conceivable.

Clearly inspired by a retro palette, this 2 Light ushers in a translucent plastic overlay that conceals a bevy of patched-together segments that sport numerous types of Nike branding and an array of head-turning hues. While both the left and right sneaker come with a distinct look they can call their own, the lone similarity arrives via a Bright Crimson lace unit and midfoot Swooshes. Select overseas retailers are citing a release “Coming Soon”, so enjoy a detailed look below and keep it locked for specific updates.
