mastermind Japan And Vans To Release Capsule Collection Highlighted By The Slip-On

As a long-time Vans collaborative partner, mastermind Japan‘s signature skull-and-crossbones logo has graced many of the California-based brand’s signature silhouettes — from the Vans Sk8-Hi to the Vans Old Skool. Now the two are back again for another small co-branded capsule collection, built around the Vans Slip-On. This time around, mastermind has opted to amplify the Slip-On’s house shoe-style by dressing it in a black satin to give off a cozy silky look. Per usual, their signature skull and crossbones logo is featured prominently — embroidered on the toebox in black and grey — while more subtle detailing is provided by tonal black script embroidered on the tongue and gold stitched text on the heel. These new Slip-Ons will release January 11th alongside a special co-branded T-shirt at Japanese stockists like California Dept, so get a detailed look at both the shoes & shirt below while you wait for the drop.
