Ben Felderstein Throughout the glorious history of the Air Max 90, one of its most revered aesthetics released in June of 2013 by way of the three-piece “Independence Day” pack that featured tonal color schemes and American Flag decals on each iteration’s tongue. Now, over five years later, the Swoosh is set to roll out another dressed-in-red Air Max 90 Essential that comes devoid of any obvious patriotic affiliations. Other than the presence of white on this 90’s Nike and Air Max branding, it comes decked head-to-toe in a bold shade of Crimson, with an attractive woven-like pattern taking shape on its ankle collar, toebox, and throat. Opting for premium leather surrounding that aforementioned weave, this souped up take on one of the most successful Air Max creations carries a slight luxurious vibe. Enjoy an official look at the newest 90 below, expect pairs to arrive at Swoosh stockists in the coming weeks, and head over to eBay right now to snag a pair before the official drop.
