adidas Dame 5 “People’s Champ” Set To Release In February

adidas Dame 5 “People’s Champ” Set To Release In February

Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers is a budding superstar. The athletic point guard — and skilled part-time rapper — earned All-NBA First Team honors in 2018 and is averaging an impressive 26 PPG in 2019, as his Blazers currently sit in 5th place in the West. Lillard’s signature adidas shoe line is set to return to the spotlight soon as well, with his brand-new adidas Dame 5 set to release this February. Appearing in a “People’s Champ” colorway, Dame’s new shoes feature a stretchy mesh collar and a two-piece upper: suede on the rear, mesh on the forefoot. A Bounce midsole and outsole with an aggressive traction pattern arrive to provide comfort and court feel. From a colorway standpoint, the shoe is fairly simple — mainly dressed in black with speckled red accents on the midsole and a red “People’s Champ” text hit on the heel tab, nodding to Dame’s down-to-earth nature and extreme popularity in the Pacific Northwest. Take a look at Lillard’s new Trefoil Brand kicks below, and stay tuned for more info on a specific adidas.com release date as it’s available.
