A Futuristic Colorway Lands On The Nike Air Max Deluxe

A Futuristic Colorway Lands On The Nike Air Max Deluxe

Since first releasing in 1999, Nike’s Air Max Deluxe has always boasted an ahead-of-its time look, due to its soundwave-inspired upper, synthetic materials, and swooping midfoot cage. It’s been enjoying a resurgence in popularity as of late thanks to several colorways — both new and old — dropping as well as a “Never Sleep On Tour” collab with Skepta, and now the latest Deluxe to appear is this ultra-futuristic combination of “Laser Fuschia” and “Regency Purple.” The shimmering textured upper features a combo of the two colorful metallic tones for a look that sits somewhere between space age and South Beach, while hot pink accents on the Air Max unit and branding provide a pop of bright contrast. The aforementioned black plastic overlays then arrive to rein in the colorful upper just enough and complete the look. Check out a full set of official images below, and look for a Nike.com release early 2019, complete with a retail price of $180 USD.
