More Details On The Next Nike “Pigeon” Dunks Are Revealed

New York’s Jeff Staple is no newcomer to Nike SB collaborations, creating one of the most well-known Dunk Lows of all time — the “Pigeon” — in 2005, and then following it up with an alternate “Black Pigeon” in 2017. Now Staple is back again for a third go-around with ornithological themes as another “Pigeon” Dunk with a white/black/green color scheme was recently revealed. Plenty of special details arrive with the new color scheme too: the lateral heel features an embroidered pigeon graphic, the outsoles boast an all-over print borrowed from the New York Daily News headline the day after Staple’s first “Pigeon” release caused a riot, and green/black bamboo detailing appears on the insoles. Lastly, a “Not For Resale”-styled gimmick appears on the sockliner — with the M crossed out and a T awkwardly placed between the S and A, switching the over-sized word to “Staple.” “Resale” is also changed to “Resell,” a touch that Staple himself referred to as a “nod to the culture”. Check out the new Pigeon Dunks below, and stay tuned for information on a release date as it’s available.
