Nike Air Max 97 “Plum Chalk” Is Releasing Soon

As a staple in the Swoosh Brand’s lifestyle lineup each and every season, the beloved Air Max 97 has received many a colorful makeover over the past few years. Now, the latest colorway to surface is a new “Plum Chalk,” a ladies-only release that combines light pastel tones with rich and bold colors to great effect, making for a shoe that’s both colorful and eye-catching without being overpowering. A dark navy mudugard sits under two layers of plum-colored trim, while a mauve mesh serves as the upper’s base. Farther up, this new 97 is replete with more light tones — as a perfect peach is used on the tongue, throat and swooping overlay lines. A simple white midsole and mauve Air Max unit wrangle in the upper’s smorgasbord of colors, and a navy outsole then finishes off the look.
