Air Jordan 6 With Cow Fur And Snakeskin To Release In January

With 2018 almost entirely in the rear-view mirror, it’s nearly time to start looking forward to next year’s sneaker releases. Jordan Brand has a lot on the books for 2019 — both in terms of brand-new colorways and remastered classics — and the latest fresh pair from the Jumpman to surface is an Air Jordan 6 constructed with a fascinating material combination of cow fur and snakeskin. The shaggy black cow fur appears on the overlays to provide a look that’s both leisurely and luxurious, while the black snakeskin-printed leather graces the underlays to provide some semblance of normalcy — not something that it’s usually called upon to do. Rich purple accents then appear on the heel tab, neoprene throat, and midsole, and the look is then completed with an OG Nike Air Hit on the heel/an icy outsole. The wild combination of materials and patterns may very well indicate that these AJ6s are a “Chinese New Year” edition, joining the ranks of similarly stunning silhouettes like the Air Jordan 12 and Air Max 98.
