The Air Jordan 1 “UNC Patent Leather” Releases In February

Michael Jordan’s alma-mater is a huge part of the Jordan Brand’s legacy. Time and time again the Jumpman honors His Airness’ NCAA Championship winning career at the University of North Carolina with a number of Carolina Blue-colored Jordan creations. Early next year, a Tar Heel color scheme will be coming to the beloved Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG silhouette once again in one of its most striking aesthetics yet. Dressed entirely in patent leather, this shimmering AJ1 sports hits of that attractive, soft shade of blue, while ushering in the program’s alternate navy for contrast. At the moment, pairs are on pace to arrive at retailers around the globe on February 9th, so grab your most complete look yet and stay tuned for any more updates if we have them. While you wait, check out our Jordan Release Dates page for info regarding other Jumpman-branded drops.
