With the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 in its third year on the market, the beloved silhouette is still as popular as ever — and arguably more so — but it’s seemingly lost some of its luster due to a healthy dose of restocks and massively increased production numbers. Kanye West’s promise that eventually everyone who wanted Yeezys would be able to get them appears to be coming true, but now the onus is on West and adidas to keep the long-running model fresh, and they’re attempting to do just that with the new “Static” 350 V2s. These new adidas Yeezy shoes boast the familiar bulbous midsole and flexible upper that the line has become renowned for, but strip back the upper for a more translucent look. The standard midfoot stripe offers a see-through design, while the upper’s flecked combo of white and light grey offers a minimal look that draws all eyes to the aforementioned new-style stripe. A milky white midsole chock-full of soft Boost cushioning then completes the shoe. ‘Ye’s new shoes are reported to drop at the tail end of this December alongside the Static Reflective Yeezy 350 v2s — but likely in much greater numbers, as the reflective pairs are rumored to be limited to a mere 5,000. Check out official images of the new kicks below, and stay tuned for more info on a specific drop date as it’s available.
