The adidas POD s3.1 Adds Mesh Uppers

The adidas POD s3.1 Adds Mesh Uppers

A successor of sorts to the ultra-popular adidas NMD line, the adidas POD s3.1 is a unique silhouette with a special two-piece sole. After first hitting shelves earlier this summer, it’s now surfaced with a new material makeover: a two-piece suede and mesh upper. The rear half features a shaggy dark grey suede, while the forefoot and toebox are constructed of a bold white mesh with black underlays. A piece of taped detailing on the midfoot then accents the design, appearing as if it’s physically holding the upper’s two halves together. Simple black detailing graces the throat and collar, while blue/grey tabs offer a little extra contrast. The aforementioned two-piece midsole features a thick chunk of Boost in the heel plus simple EVA foam in the forefoot, and a volt green plastic midfoot shank finalizes the POD’s two-piece look. Get a look at these wild new joints below, and expect them to release on adidas.com and at select Trefoil Brand stockists December 15th for a flat $100 USD.
