With locations in Los Angeles, the Philippines, and Virgina Beach among others, Commonwealth knows a thing or two about coastal living. Now, they’re drawing on that waterfront lifestyle for their newest collaboration with adidas Consortium — a special adidas ZX500 RM. The shoe’s old-school upper receives a modern day makeover, with synthetic suede overlays and see-through mesh underlays providing a stripped-back look that’s as light as an ocean breeze. Thick taped seams, special heel detailing and embroidered three-stripe graphics then appear to offer a sense of structure. The unique upper is perched on top of a thick white Boost midsole that brings the silhouette together by offering both exemplary style and comfort. For a finishing touch, the shoes also offer a co-branded insole and a small Commonwealth tag stitched on to the upper. These special ZX500 RMs will release at Commonwealth’s US locations December 8th, then receive a full worldwide release a week later on December 15th.
