Damian Lillard’s adidas Dame 5 Signature Shoe Is Dropping In February 2019

Damian Lillard’s adidas Dame 5 Signature Shoe Is Dropping In February 2019

The last few years have proved fruitful on the footwear for Portland Trail Blazers All-Star guard Damian Lillard. His adidas Dame 4 brought his signature line to new heights with unique graphics and a BAPE collaboration. Now with a new season underway, his brand-new adidas Dame 5 is set to keep the flame that the Dame 4s ignited burning bright well into 2019 and beyond.

The familiar 3/4 cut ankle collar and sock-like detailing on the upper return on the Dame 5, but that’s about all that’s similar: the shoes offer a new two-piece construction with synthetic suede on the heel while mesh covers the midfoot and toe box. A large plastic medial outrigger offers support and style, while a Bounce midsole provides cushioning and an aggressive outsole pattern takes care of traction. The shoe has surfaced in three new colorways — a Blazers black/red, a retro yellow/black/red with marbled detailing, and a luxurious mint green — and special finishing touches come via unique heel tab branding on each pair. Dame Dolla’s new kicks are set to drop February 2019, so grab a first look at all three below, and stay tuned for release/pricing information as it’s available.
