Up Close With The Nike Air Max 95/90 Designed By Patta

Amsterdam’s Patta has spent years working its way toward the top of Nike’s collaborative partner ranks, pulling off co-designed efforts that are amongst the greatest in Swoosh history. Most recently, the two linked up on the “Publicity. Publicity. Wohoooow!” collection that comes inspired by both travel and spontaneous “happenings” from avant garde artists of the 1960s. Anchored by a pair of hybridized Air Max 95/90 silhouettes, the capsule contains 16 co-branded items designed in conjunction with eleven esteemed artists. Creating a brand new silhouette just for this collection, the notable Swoosh partners started with the sole of the Air Max 95 and placed the sleek upper of the Air Max 90 atop it for a distinctly unique vibe. Admirers of this new creation have their choice between a Dark Obsidian and a Black variety, each sporting a red Swoosh for added flavor. Over-the-top embellishments come by way of shimmering, co-branded neon tongue labels, with more Patta hits coming featured inside the 90’s signature lateral emblem.
