The Nike Air Safari Arrives In Green And Yellow

TheTinker Hatfield-designed Air Safari has been enjoying a resurgence in 2018. With several colorways both classic and new — like a clever take on the beloved “Safari” atmos Air Max 1s — dropping, the first-ever shoe to debut the now-iconic print is still relevant more than three decades after its original release. Now, it’s arrived in a new combo of green and yellow that takes classic details and coloring — and adds a refreshing twist of tropical flavor. The original yellow colorway on the toebox and heel is left intact, but a bright new emerald-green appears on the midfoot and tongue for a beach-ready contrast. Safari print adorns the mudguard and heel, while black accents on the midfoot Swoosh and midsole help rein in the upper’s wild look. The shoe is then completed by a blue tongue patch and a tri-color outsole. An official release date hasn’t been announced yet, but you can expect these new Safaris to drop on Nike.com and Swoosh Brand stockists later this Fall for $110 USD.
