The Nike Air Max Plus Premium Goes Full Volt

The Nike Air Max Plus Premium Goes Full Volt

The Nike Air Max Plus has enjoyed an interesting 2018, being released in a plentiful selection of colorways both new and old and providing inspiration for the popular Vapormax Plus. It’s a beloved silhouette with an instantly recognizable aesthetic and deep cultural roots — and now it’s set to arrive in an interesting alternate Plus Premium take with a bright “Full Volt” colorway. The standard mesh upper with plastic overlays is gone, replaced by a smooth volt green leather with stitched detailing and perforations to indicate where the overlays would typically be placed. The midsole is dressed in a dark speckled grey with green Air Max units, and black detailing on the outsole, lace loops, and collar plus a grey midfoot Swoosh complete the look. If you’re a fan of this alternate take on a classic Air Max silhouette, they’ll release October 5th on Nike SNKRS with a retail price of $170 USD.
