Throughout the illustrious history of the Jordan Brand, its die-hard fanatics and followers have always been incredibly particular about one specific detail. On its top models the likes of the Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 4, and Air Jordan 6, the brand has alternated between adorning their respective heels with either original Nike Air branding or a Jumpman logo. Of course – as the way things go in the sneaker world – appreciators of the Jordan Brand heavily prefer the original Swoosh detail as opposed to the modernized version. Next year, two original colorways of the Jordan 4 and the Jordan 6 will be making a triumphant return to retailers with that beloved Nike Air detailing. Both done up in black and red, the AJ4 returns in its familiar Bred color scheme while the 6 dons an Infrared outfit, each serving as one of the most popular iterations in the heralded lore of each model. No official word regarding the specific drop of the Jordan 4 has surfaced just yet, but stay tuned for release information regarding that pair and look forward to the AJ6 in February. While you wait, help us settle the Nike Air vs Jumpman debate in the comments below and check into our Jordan Release Dates page.
