This month, illustrious European sneaker boutique Sneakersnstuff is set to reprise one of the most iconic collaborations in their shop’s distinguished history. In 2017, SNS dropped a two-piece set of adidas NMD R1 Primeknits with a “Datamosh” monicker that carried an aesthetic makeup meant to resemble technology with the same name. Visually, these two Three Stripe-less creations boasted woven PK uppers that were designed to mimic corrupting data in which images are “moshed” together to create a unique visual effect. Having dropped in a Clear Aqua and a Collegiate Orange color scheme last year, the capsule is back once again done up with a much darker vibe for Fall, coming in a warm Maroon, and a sporty Blue Night. Supported by a campaign video directed by UK designers, Tim & Barry, and a release party at SNS’s NYC-based Meatpacking District shop on 9/20, the adidas NMD R1 PK “Datamosh 2.0” Pack is slated to drop online and at all the shop’s brick-and-mortar locations on September 22nd.
