Upcoming Air Jordan 3 Is Inspired By Another Tinker Hatfield Classic, The Air Trainer 1

Nike and Jordan Brand have a penchant for emphasizing the crossover that exists between the two sneaker titans with their athletes, designers, and more. Tinker Hatfield is inarguably one of the most influential names in the entire footwear industry, and has designed a number of the two aforementioned brand’s top silhouettes the likes of the Air Jordan 11 and the Nike Air Max 1. With Hatfield’s distinguished career in mind, the Jumpman now has plans to release an Air Jordan 3 that borrows the color scheme of the Air Trainer 1 “Chlorophyll”. Nike’s Air Trainer 1 has been an important model to Jordan Brand this year, as it was also an integral cog in the collaborative Just Don machine that produced the newly admired Jordan Legacy 312. In terms of this new AJ3’s color scheme, it boats a smooth grey upper with vibrant green accents on its Air unit, eyelets, Jumpman branding, and instep as well as adding white and black into the mix for contrast. Grab a first look at this familiar looking Jordan 3 below and keep it posted for drop date information as we have it.
