First Look At The adidas Futurecraft 4D-5923

First Look At The adidas Futurecraft 4D-5923

adidas Futurecraft technology is nothing short of amazing. The 4D printed material—which utilizes an advanced light synthesis process to create midsoles that are both lightweight and durable—is the German brand’s most advanced technology. Since its unveiling in 2017, Futurecraft has since been used for a collaboration with Daniel Arsham, as part of a adidas Consortium pack with retailers like Kith and Sneakersnstuff, and most recently with Y-3 as part of their SS ’19 collection, among other releases.

Now, the tech is coming to a true casual sneaker for the first time ever, as the adidas I-5923 has surfaced with a Futurecraft midsole after first being rumored this spring. Entitled the Futurecraft 4D-5923, the new silhouette keeps all the I-5923’s ’70s-inspired detailing intact, while replacing the shoe’s standard Boost midsole with a Futurecraft iteration that’s done up in the technology’s signature light mint green color. The new look is nothing short of striking: firmly planted in both the past and the future, it nods to both the heritage of adidas Originals and the company’s advancement in 2018 and beyond. Enjoy a first look at the new silhouette below, and keep it locked right here for release info and updates as they’re available.
