The Nike EXP-X14 Arrives In Black And Wolf Grey

The Nike EXP-X14 Arrives In Black And Wolf Grey

One of Nike’s newest models – the EXP-X14 – perfectly embodies the brand’s ability to create a shoe meant for utilitarian use that also serves as a crossover to the lifestyle footwear market. Having released as part of the Swoosh’s expansive “Just Do It” collection, the EXP-X14 was immediately recognized for its semi-translucent upper that acts as a lens into the inner working of the shoe designed for runners. Drawing inspiration from past models the likes of the Zoom Vaporfly 4%. and the Zoom Drive from 1999, it manages to harken back to the brand’s incredible legacy while still maintaining its own signature look. Other details scattered throughout its upper are the numbers and letters, “N3546”, that represents Steve Prefontaine’s unprecedented mile time. Its name is a play off its design process, as EXP is short for experiment, and X14 is representative of the internal codename given to Nike’s groundbreaking react technology.

Designed with a feminine touch in mind, this ladies-only black and wolf grey color scheme ushers in a simplistic aesthetic that furthers this models many uses. Official images of the newest Nike EXP-X14 are available below while pairs are slated to arrive on the SNKRS app next week, August 22nd.
