After the Air Jordan 1 received the Flyknit treatment last year and with the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 1 Low both set to receive a Flyknit upper this fall, Jordan Brand is showing no signs of slowing down when it comes to modernizing some of their most classic models. Now yet another legendary Jordan is set to join the Flyknit club, as an Air Jordan 4 Flyknit is set to drop in four colorways during Summer 2019. Reported to release in a Hyper Royal/Black, a University Red/Black, a Volt/Gunsmoke, and a Total Orange/Gunsmoke, the quartet of new kicks appear to feature a mix of homage style colorways and bold new takes on the beloved silhouette. Images of the upcoming sneaker have yet to surface, but it will certainly be interesting to see how the new Flyknit upper works with the 4’s netted midfoot detailing and plastic lacing system pieces.
