The Nike Kyrie Flytrap Is Coming In Duke Colors

While Kyrie Irvings’s Duke career was limited to a mere 11 games due to injury, he still manages to harken back to his days in Durham with release of signature Blue Devil-colored footwear. Most recently, Irving and the Swoosh released an S1HYRBID colorway done up primarily in black and blue, with gold and white accents for an additional design flavor. Now, the championship winning point guard’s cost-friendly Flytrap model is set to don the same exact colorway. Its breathable mesh upper sees blue and white interact with each other in an eye-catching way that gets offset by a black midfoot Swoosh, throat, and back half of its sole unit. Borrowing design cues from the growingly popular Kyrie 4 line, the Flytrap features white outriggers that begin to creep up on this hoops-ready sneaker’s upper. Official images of the Kyrie Flytrap “Duke” are available below, while pairs are expected to arrive on Nike.com sooner rather than later.
