The Nike Air Safari Gets Dressed In Another Classic Air Max 1 Colorway

Nike’s ingenuity with the Air Safari shines through once again with this upcoming release inspired by a classic Air Max 1 drop of the past. In early 2008, the Swoosh released an Air Max 1 Supreme as part of a “Tech Pack” that, coincidentally, included an Air Safari as well. Colored in bright tones, weathered leather, and an enhanced Safari print, this Air Max 1 was rather popular as it harkened back to the first atmos x Air Max 1 collaboration of 2003 while injecting some fresh creative juices. Fast forward to 2018, and Nike is bouncing back the color concept to the Air Safari, although this contemporary version doesn’t feature the aforementioned material selection and expanded Safari print.
