Is This The Gyakusou x Nike Zoom Fly SP?

Is This The Gyakusou x Nike Zoom Fly SP?

Nike’s Gyakusou line, a collection of fashion-forward running shoes and apparel that blends the Swoosh’s propensity for highly technical materials with legendary UNDERCOVER designer Jun Takahashi’s unique aesthetic, is adored by fashionistas and runners around the world. After releasing a black and white Free Run earlier this year, the two collaborative partners may be cooking up again as images of a Nike Zoom Fly SP has surfaced.

The shoe features a semi-translucent purple upper with the Zoom Fly‘s unique track-inspired stripes left intact, while the oversized forefoot swoosh that appears on some Zoom Fly models is swapped out for a smaller version. A printed black/white crossbones logo—one of Takahashi’s signature Undercover graphics—appears on the medial heel, and the shoe features a two-piece partly speckled white midsole, split in half by a blue plastic shank plate. Although these striking running shoes have not been officially announced as a Gyakusou release yet, the crossbones graphic and Takahashi’s recent work on five collaborative Undercover React Element 87s, are strong indicators that they may very well be. Enjoy your first look at the new Zoom Fly SPs below, and stay tuned to our Sneaker Release Dates page for further release info and updates.
