Nike’s Air Max Plus/97 Hybrids Arrive In “Orewood Brown”

Nike’s Air Max Plus/97 Hybrids Arrive In “Orewood Brown”

Nike’s Air Max 97 Plus and Air Max Plus 97 are truly “best of both worlds” silhouettes. The two hybrid Air Max iterations fuse the Air Max 97 and Air Max Plus together to create a pair of alternate takes on classic releases, making for silhouettes that are simultaneously instantly recognizable and extremely unique. After May’s summer-ready combination of hot pink and orange, the two synthesized silhouettes are returning again, this time in a light tonal “Orewood Brown.” Both shoes feature a combination of white and tan tones on the upper and midsole, while dark accents arrive via a black tongue, throat, and heel collar. A small emerald swoosh on the tongue of both pairs offers a bright pop of branding, and both also feature a tonal midsole, clear Air Max cushioning unit, and grey outsole. This two-pack of hybrid shoes is scheduled for an August 1st release date on Nike SNKRS with the Plus/97 retailing for $160, while the 97/Plus checks in at $175.
