Nike Sends The Pre Montreal Racer To The Moon

Nike Sends The Pre Montreal Racer To The Moon

Nike spent years innovating their impressive ZoomX cushioning system, debuting it at the BREAKING2 initiative in Monza, Italy with the VaporFly Elite sneaker. About a year later, the brand conceived a lifestyle-focused iteration of the shoe called the Vapor Street Flyknit that utilized a similar silhouette with the eye-catching midsole, and it appears that Nike Sportswear will continue down that path even further with the debut of the Moon Racer. The upper is somewhat of a modified version of the Pre Montreal Racer, complete with an over-sized Swoosh, a ribbon piece at the toe, an external heel flap that sits above the curvy midsole with a tapered heel, and an insole/dust bag with lunar and retro-inspired graphics. Currently, two colorways are in the works, with a release slated for July 24 on Nike.com. Peep a detailed look ahead and stay tuned for release updates.
