Nike’s futuristic React Element 87 caused quite a splash upon its US release last week, selling out instantly and garnering high praise as one of the Swoosh Brand’s best new silhouettes of the year. Now, first images of an alternate take on the shoe that features solid nylon uppers instead of the semi-translucent TPE used on the first version of the shoe have surfaced. While the first two colorways featured a more tonal look, this new iteration features a wild color scheme, with a soft pink React midsole and mint green laces providing flashy pops of color. The aforementioned nylon upper arrives dressed in black with white lines, providing an interesting geometrical look, while a stately grey suede arrives on the eyestays and lacing system. Release information for this head-turning new take on the React has yet to be unveiled, but be sure to keep it locked to our Sneaker Release Dates page for the most up to date info on any and all React Element releases.
