Paint-Splattered Nike Air Max 97s Are Available Now

The ubiquitous Air Max 97, one of the hottest silhouettes of the last few years, has arrived in a new paint-splatter colorway that offers shades of Jackson Pollock and plenty of summer-ready style. The shoe’s defining feature arrives via the aforementioned abstract paint splatters, which dot the shoe’s entire mudguard. A tan suede is used as a base for the colorful, abstract flecks, which feature colors from green to red to blue and white. A single red upper panel separates the chaos of the mudguard from the rest of the upper’s monochromatic simplicity, as a stately sail is used on the 97’s iconic lines as well as the tongue and laces with just a touch of paint splatter arriving on the tongue medallion. Branding appears via small black swooshes on the tongue and midfoot, and the shoe is completed with a white midsole, neutral colored Air Max unit, and a blue/red outsole.
