After his first runway show at the helm of Louis Vuitton, Off-White founder and sneaker collaborator extraordinaire Virgil Abloh is keeping things rolling. The sneaker world’s man of the moment has arrived at SSENSE‘s new store in Montreal to debut his “CUTTING ROOM FLOOR” exhibit, where—among other things—he’ll sell a limited run of customized white Air Force 1 Lows.
Early images from SSENSE show Abloh adorning the iconic sneakers with his signature black quotation marks and phrases on the midsole. As a pair of white-on white Air Force 1s are truly the ultimate blank slate for any sneaker customizer, it’ll certainly be interesting to see how Abloh exports his unique aesthetic onto the iconic sneaker-and if buyers will be able to ask him for specific embellishments on their pair. If you’re in Montreal, be sure to stop by SSENSE‘s physical retail location to check out Virgil’s work in person, and let us know what you’d want your pair of customized Air Force 1s to look like.
