The Air Jordan 18 Retro Is Coming In Blue Suede

The Air Jordan 18 Retro Is Coming In Blue Suede

After the release of the “Red Suede” Jordan 18s in April, images of more tonal suede takes on the cult-favorite Jordan silhouette—the last shoe Michael Jordan ever played in— began appearing. A cool grey, bright orange, and bold yellow have all appeared, and now another pair is set to join the colorful ranks, as images of a blue suede pair have surfaced as well.

The shoe’s upper is dressed in a premium royal blue suede, with a small tonal Jumpman logo appearing on the forefoot, and silver Jordan branding appearing on the inside of the snap-down lace shroud. Bright metallic blue hardware appears towards the collar, and the shoe’s most interesting feature arrives via a tonal embroidered “4ME” hit on the very top of the shroud. As other upcoming 18 releases have featured similar embroidered phrases, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that the pairs could be part of a commemorative pack. For a finishing touch, a white heel/toe and semi-translucent midsole and outsole complete this interesting pair of blue suede shoes. Keep it locked here for more release information as it becomes available, and let us know what you think of all the tonal 18s —and the unique embroidery—as well.
