Don’t Reach Youngblood. Uncle Drew’s first ever signature sneaker is under two weeks away, and today we have a detailed set of images for this brand new Kyrie 4. Of course, there would be no Uncle Drew with Irving, but the hooping grandpa still deserves credit for one of the most compelling sports alter-egos we’ve ever been treated to. Dressed mostly in white, this simplistic take on one of the world’s most popular basketball sneakers ushers in a boldly embroidered blue Swoosh as well as a speckled pattern on its heel that wraps from the lateral side to the medial. Much to the delight of sneakerheads and Uncle Drew fans alike, it is finished off by a gum bottom outsole that creeps up onto the sneaker’s midsole by way of its customary outriggers. Pairs of this Uncle Drew-inspired Kyrie 4 are currently slated to arrive at Nike Basketball retailers on June 23rd while Drew and his team of hooping seniors hit the silver screen on June 29th.
