The Sneaker Internet Is Going Crazy About The Nike React Element 87

The Sneaker Internet Is Going Crazy About The Nike React Element 87

Nike’s brand new React Element 87 sneaker was originally debuted as part of a five-piece collaborative collection with Jun Takahashi’s Undercover label. Upon that reveal, the sneaker internet has gone absolutely crazy, making early claims for its sneaker of the year potential. Since then, the Element 87 has been revealed in two in-line colorways that tone things down a substantial amount from the aforementioned Undercover collabs.

Sporting the Swoosh Brand’s all-new React foam cushioning, it is this sneaker’s semi-translucent upper that is responsible for a large majority of its appeal. Its unconventional lacing system sits just underneath its asymmetrical and jagged tongue, while miniature Swooshes can be found on its toebox and heel. Another intriguing design element of note is its cork insole that will undoubtedly add to this new sneakers incredible comfort.

Peep an official look at this attractive Sail/Light Bone color scheme below that comes with Rush Orange detailing and an icy outsole and tell us if you think it can be the SOTY. Pairs are currently expected to hit retailers in Asia and Europe on June 21st and North America July 13th. Stay tuned for updates regarding a Stateside release of what is one of the most widely accepted brand new sneakers in recent memory.
