Arguably one of the most beloved Jordan retros of all time, the “Black Infrared” Air Jordan 6 has lived many lives and provided inspiration for many other shoes since its original release back in 1991. The Black Infrared last released in 2014 and featured a vast majority of the crisp detailing and bold accents that made it iconic, but was lacking an OG detail that many traditionalists demand: Nike Air branding on the heel. However, those traditional sneakerheads—and the rest of the sneaker loving public—may soon be in for a traditional throwback treat: the Black Infrared 6s are rumored to be returning soon, complete with Nike Air Branding for the first time since 2000. Likely part of Jordan Brand’s fall lineup, there’s no official release date or pricing information available just yet, but be sure to keep it locked here for any and all Air Jordan 6 updates. Don’t feel like waiting? Pairs of the 2014 Infrared 6 release are also available now at Stadium Goods.
