In yet another poignant ad by Nike, the brand tells not the story of LeBron James’ many successes in basketball, but of the moment in time this path towards all-time greatness. It reenacts the time a 16-year-old LeBron (with skin too good for a teen in high-school) walked into a tattoo shop in Las Vegas and got his raggedy yet audacious “Chosen 1” ink permanently drawn into his frame. The three-time NBA champion clearly surpassed that hype, with many of the current basketball banter placing LeBron on an equal plane as Michael Jordan.
