While the Air Jordan 3 doesn’t quite have any roots in the sport of running, its spirit will have quite a presence this weekend at the 2018 Prefontaine Classic in Eugene, Oregon. To celebrate this annual running event, Jordan Brand will offer up a Zoom Tenacity 88, the Air Jordan 3-inspired running shoe, in a split-colored style similar to the recent drop of the Homage To Home Jordan 1s. This collision of Infrared and Volt is inspired by the Nike Zoom Jasari spike that featured the same style of color-blocking in 1996.
The shoes will be worn by Jordan Brand athlete Erik Kynard for the high-jump as well as Matt Centrowitz (1500 m) and Renaud Levellenie (pole vault). For those looking to cop this electric Zoom Tenacity 88, limited pairs will release at Nike Eugene on May 25th.
