These UA Steph Curry Samples Suggest A Radical New Design Direction

These UA Steph Curry Samples Suggest A Radical New Design Direction

With the recent release of several new Curry 5 colorways and a new STEPH-IQ mobile game, Under Armour shows no signs of slowing down when it comes to marketing their most prominent athlete. However, it appears as if they may soon be taking a profound new design direction with Steph Curry‘s upcoming sneakers: the first images of three new UA Curry samples were leaked recently, and they showcase a totally different aesthetic from the line’s current silhouettes.

While previous Curry releases were known for their sharp and sleek look, these new samples show a more bulky design with sharper edges than past releases as well as an interesting 3/4 cut on two of the three samples, replacing the current low-top iterations. None of these three sneakers have been confirmed to be an official signature shoe yet, but as they do bear Curry’s SC30 logo they could also possibly be part of an upcoming Curry “team” line, much like Nike has done with LeBron James‘ Soldier sneakers. More information on these new Curry silhouettes will be posted as it becomes available, so be sure to keep it locked right here for all your Chef Curry updates.
