The Air Force 270 has been an unexpected canvas to draw back to Nike’s history as we’ve seen the vintage shoe-box themed colorway as well as the introductory Safari. Next up is an even more out-of-left-field homage to the Air Carnivore of 1993, one of the strangest shoes in the brand’s heralded 1990s decade. Featuring a black and grey base with a familiar mix of purple and dark blue-green accents on the heel, midfoot, and tongue, the shoe’s OG look is completed with the feral print on the midfoot strap. An interesting and unexpected reference to an archival Nike sneaker that last released in 2010 and widely flew under the radar, this new Air Force 270 is set to drop on Nike.com and sneaker retailers soon.
Update: The Nike Air Force 270 “Carnivore” is available now on Nike and Finishline.
